Standert Kreissage Disc Custom Build

Standert Kreissage Disc Custom Build

This Paceline Pink Standert Kreissage Disc may or may not end up in a paceline but it's a beautiful custom build we completed for a long time customer.

Ingredients were as follows:

- Dura Ace 11 sp Di2 (moved from his SL6 to make way for DA 9270 for that bike)
- Enve x Chris King wheelset
- FSA headset
- Shimano Pro Vibe carbon bars
- Enve white handlebar tape
- Pro Logo Scratch carbon saddle
- Zipp Sprint SL 120mm stem
- SLF Motion OSPW
- Zipp carbon seatpost
- Ultegra pedals

Pretty smooth build! Our only gripe was that the downtube entry point for the rear brake cable and, in this case, Di2 cable: a) asked the hydro line and Di2 heatshrunk length to do some serious yoga to make it and still look neat (especially with sharp angle they exited the integrated bars) and b) required drilling the frame stop / insert to be able to accommodate the 11 spDi2 cable AND the hydro line. Even though it's painted with the words "Di2 Cable Port" on the frame.

The above wouldn't be an issue at all with SRAM AXS or Dura Ace 12sp though.

Frame comes with headset cups that need to be pressed into the headtube. On this particular build there was some confusion caused by one FSA headset (which had a sealed upper bearing but a 7/32" x 20 ball cage bearing lower) being supplied with the frame as well as 1/2 a Standert branded one.

Final weight came in at just a touch over 8kgs. Not too shabby for an alloy bike with pretty deep wheels on her. Slammed as f*#k too ;)
